To empower marginalized communities in Namibia through comprehensive healthcare, education, and sustainable agricultural initiatives, fostering holistic development and societal integration.

Omandongo African Trust is a registered charitable organization under the oversight of the Master of the High Court within the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Namibia. Dr. Batcho Katumbo, the founder of the trust, initially recognized the imperative to bolster the development of the Namibian education system and alleviate governmental burdens. Despite encountering structural obstacles since its inception and encountering difficulties in resource accessibility, the organization has pivoted its focus. Consequently, Omandongo African Trust has redirected its efforts towards addressing a spectrum of social challenges, leveraging the academic expertise of its board of directors and volunteers.

Our journey began with a vision to empower underserved communities and create lasting positive change. The Better Boys Better Days program took shape, nurturing the holistic development of adolescent males in informal settlements through tailored opportunities, resources, and support systems.
Simultaneously, the Informal Health Equity and Poverty Alleviation Program was launched to conduct outreach initiatives and health evangelism, delivering essential healthcare services and promoting health education. These twin programs have allowed us to cultivate future leaders who can drive progress in their communities, while also fostering healthier and more resilient populations. As we continue forward, we remain dedicated to empowering individuals academically, socially, personally and in their overall well-being - planting seeds today for a better tomorrow.
At Omandongo African Trust, we believe in the power of collaboration. Join our movement and contribute to uplifting marginalized communities in Namibia. Together, we can magnify our impact.
